"After having severe back pain for months Dr. Oh reviewed my MRI and suggested surgery as my L5 vertebrae had slipped 5mm and was pressing against my spinal cord. The pain was constant! Dr. Oh took the time to explain my surgery and forewarned me that the pain post surgery would be significant for perhaps two weeks. He and his team prepared me for the Spondylolisthesis surgery which was a success. The pain and numbness down my right leg was gone. The back pain was tough during the first two weeks post surgery but I didn’t need any pain killers after one week. Each day I feel better and am forever grateful to Dr. Oh and his team for alleviating my back pain! One other item...what Doctor calls you to see how you’re doing post surgery? Dr. Oh did! Great personal touch from a very humble, brilliant man. Thank God for men like Dr. Oh!"

After having visited another neurosurgeon for an initial consultation and being very disappointed by that doctor's aloof manner, it was a relief to be put at ease by the time and concern Dr. Oh demonstrated. "Simply put, Dr. Oh is the best. If you are looking for a Neurosurgeon don't waste your time looking elsewhere. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. His bedside manner was terrific. I had a severe case of spinal stenosis as well as a herniated disc. I could not walk more than a few minutes without falling to the ground. The day after surgery I was walking like I used to. If it wasn't for Dr. Oh I would have ended up in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. A miracle worker."
"I had an appt. with Dr. Oh 8/2/16, and I have never met such a wonderful man in all my life,I have dealt with many Neurosurgeons in my life and this man is the most Friendly, Caring, Comforting Man I have ever met. He made me feel like if he had said I need Surgery I would have let him do it in his office!! Fortunately I don't need Surgery but He's the MAN !!"

"Dr. Oh is the best surgeon! I had a brain tumor in the pituitary gland and I had surgery on Friday and 24 hours later I was up and walking. Everything went great. He took time out of his Saturday & Sunday to come see me at the hospital. He is easy to talk with, great bedside manner, as well as a very experienced surgeon. I was disappointed at first because my insurance company told me I could not have the neurosurgeon I wanted at Brigham Woman's Hospital but then found out the surgeon I wanted did his residency under Dr. Oh. He is EXCELLENT!"
"Probably saved me from being paralyzed. C5-C6 disc replacement due to severe cord compression. Dr. OH made me feel at ease from the moment I meet with him. He took his time and never rushed me. He answered all my questions making sure I understood everything. He really was excellent, I had a great recovery, was eating solid food and up walking hours afters surgery. He followed up with me first thing the next morning in the hospital. He or his PA (also excellent, kind and compassionate) always called me back as I did have questions after surgery while healing. Also my scar from surgery is a lot smaller then I expected. I just can't say enough how great my experience was. I am glad that I waited to see Dr. OH."
Dr. Oh was FABULOUS!!!!! He was attentive, SO prepared with info about my neck, explained everything about the surgery thoroughly, and gave me COMPLETE CONFIDENCE about his excellence as a surgeon. He came HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by my provider at VMG in Greenfield, I personally know 5 people that he has operated on who cannot recommend him highly enough, and I learned later that he scheduled me for surgery on a Tuesday as an emergency so that I could get in for surgery within 4 weeks of seeing him in his office. I feel so privileged to have access to a surgeon of Dr. Oh's caliber available to me here in Western MA, and even more privileged by his compassion for my pain level and making me a priority for surgery at the earliest possible date. PLEASE pass on my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Oh, and I am SO EXCITED to have surgery in 2 1/2 weeks. Who says that? that they are EXCITED to have surgery? But Dr. Oh gave me such confidence, is so highly respected in the area, and the recommendations of friends have all combined to give me such hope for a positive outcome.
